Who should not use it
- Anyone with a pacemaker, defibrillator or other implanted electronic device
- During pregnancy
- Over broken, irritated, numb or recently operated skin
- Over an acute injury, fracture, open wound or active infection
- Anyone with a bleeding disorder, thrombosis or who is taking anticoagulants, without medical advice
- Children, or anyone unable to operate the controls or remove the belt unaided
Speak to your GP first if
You have a diagnosed back or spinal condition, are under the care of a clinician, have reduced sensation in the area, have diabetes or a circulatory condition, or are unsure for any reason whether the product is suitable for you.
Seek urgent medical help if
You have numbness around the groin or saddle area, new weakness in a leg or foot, pain down both legs, loss of bladder or bowel control, unexplained weight loss, or a fever alongside back pain.
Using the product safely
Follow the instructions in the printed manual. Start on a low heat and low intensity setting, limit sessions to the fifteen-minute programme, and stop immediately if you feel pain, excessive heat, dizziness or any discomfort. Do not use while driving or sleeping.
